2026 London Marathon club places

As an England Athletics affiliated club, we are fortunate to receive an allocation of club places for the London Marathon. For the past few years, we’ve received two places, and this is the same for 2026.

Each year, our process for selecting Goats to receive these places is as follows:

• Draw two numbers at random, out of the registration numbers of all Goats affiliated with England Athletics for the current year.
• Contact those members by email to offer them the places.
• (If a winner doesn’t want their place, we draw again, and continue until the places have been allocated.)
• We don’t publicise the winners, as not everyone wants a fuss made of them…
• …But the lucky winners are free to shout about it should they want to.

The 2026 places were drawn recently, the lucky winners accepted their places, and they are now looking forward to representing the Herd at the London Marathon next April. We wish them the best of luck!
