Did you know you can get a £5 voucher to be used in the Lonely Goat Running Club shop, just for re-goating your old running kit? It’s all part of our commitment to help reduce the negative environmental impact of our sport by encouraging runners to recycle, rehome, or reuse their running clothes, rather than send them to landfill.
It’s easy to do. Just head to the Re-goat link on our website — CLICK HERE — fill in a couple of questions and upload photographic proof of your re-goating — whether that’s popping a bag of kit in a charity collection bin, passing it on to a friend, stitching race t-shirts into a quilt, or whatever re-goating method takes your fancy. You’ll then receive a £5 gift voucher code to be used against our recycled plastic club kit. (One re-goat voucher per member)
For some re-goat-spiration, check out the below…
“Using an old and worn out running glove to create a costume for one of my son’s anime action figures.”
“I sent my old running top and shorts to a charity that collects running gear and sends it to Africa and India.”
“Gave my grandson my old hat.”
“Pictured here adding two old running tops to what is quickly becoming a weekly bag for the charity shop as we aim to declutter our tiny flat! Very much looking forward to my first LG vest to wear at the Championship start of London Marathon…”
“I gave my mum one of my Goat Tops!”
“I took my goat vest along to Endure 24 at Leeds Brahman Park and simply pegged it onto my clothes airer with a free sign knowing that there must be one person out of a few thousand who will pick it up.”
