We’re supporting Keep Britain Tidy

We are committed to looking after the environment we enjoy as runners and are supporting Keep Britain Tidy as part of our 1% for the Planet pledge.

Who are Keep Britain Tidy?

Keep Britain Tidy is an environmental charity with three goals:

• Eliminate litter;
• End waste;
• Improve public spaces.

Keep Britain Tidy works with people, businesses, organisations and public bodies to care for the environment on our doorstep.

This means more than just picking up litter – which they do in a big way by organising and supporting volunteer litter picking events. It also means creating clean beaches, parks and streets.

One of the best ways of doing this, of course, is to create and promote sustainable practices and eliminate unnecessary waste. To do so, Keep Britain Tidy support research and campaign for positive change.

Ultimately, they fight for our right to live and work in places we can all be proud of and prosper in.

Keep Britain Tidy and Lonely Goat Running Club

Whether you pound the pavement, bound along the beach, or trek over trails, all runners would much rather experience pristine landscapes than an environment blighted by litter.

Because of this, we think Keep Britain Tidy are the perfect charity for Lonely Goat to support as part of our 1% for the Planet pledge – to give one per cent of our revenue to environmental causes.

How we can all help

One per cent of every pound spent in the Lonely Goat Shop will go towards environmental causes.

However, we want to do more than just donate money to someone else so they can deal with the problem.

We also want to work on ways that we as a company, and the amazing Lonely Goat community, can make a practical difference to some of the challenges facing the environment.
